Sausage and Chicken Gumbo for TWO (seasonal)
being raised in Houston, we had Gumbo almost as much as we had Chili...especially since it was my Mimi's favourite to make and to eat. most of the time it was chicken and sausage; however, it was also pretty common for her to throw in a few shrimp and blue crab too!
ours is a Cajun classic chock full of smoked chicken, our 100% beef sausage, tomatoes, okra, onions and more!
so grab a bowl and ladle a portion of our thick gumbo over a pile of rice which is included on the side!
